• Highland Wool is obtained from the highest and cleanest environments where very clean, soft and pure hair can grow in such a very high quality nature. The Peruvian Highland Wool has soft and cosy texture that provides deep creativity and self-expression with its chunky character that brings with you a sense of discovery. These yarns create expressive and playful stitches that reflect the sense of heavy stitches and fun textures. Works very well for making hand knitted kids clothing, crochet toys and for various creative projects; such as, accessories, beanies, scarfs, throws...
• It has successfully passed all flammability, azo dye, and heavy metal tests required for EU and CE standards and has the report by EN 71-3:2019. No harmful and artificial dyes are detected. Hand-painted with natural dyes.
• Technically approved that the dyes, colorants, dyestuffs all comply with the existing ecological legislation in the Federal Republic of Germany, with all European Directives and with the REACH regulations. It is confirmed that not any intentionally the chemical substance listed in the Restricted Substances List (RSL) are used.
• The yarn is animal friendly. The ‘haircut’ doesn’t hurt or harm the animal as farmers use animal-safe sheers to gently cut the hairs. This shearing is traditionally done every year, and it is safe and healthy. When choosing the yarn sources, it is confirmed that all wool sources are mulesing free. 

WASH & CARE

In order to preserve the original look as long as possible of the handicrafts made with Watercolor Rainforest Wool,

• Please hand wash your garment in cool water

• Gently swirl and press garment (do NOT twist or wring as this will distort garment)

• Rinse using the same gentle swirling, pressing method but in cool, non-detergent water

• Gently fold and press garment on the edge of the sink or basin to remove excess water (Do NOT twist or wring out)

• Reshape your delicate garment and lay flat to dry ♡
